NPT Carers Service is delighted to celebrate Carers Week 2026, which is running from 8th-14th June. Carers Week 2026 is a vital opportunity for us all to play a positive role in building truly carer-friendly communities. It encourages us to recognise unpaid carers and consider how we can better support them. ADULT UNPAID CARERS GRANT SCHEME
West Glamorgan Regional Partnership has received Short Break Funding to increase opportunities for unpaid adult carers to takea break from their caring responsibilities. Unpaid adult carers living in Neath Port Talbot and Swansea can apply for an Adult Unpaid Carers Short Break grant of up to £300. Unpaid adult carers can apply for funding to pay for an activity or a service that provides a short break from the caring role. Examples of this might include: Day trips Overnight
